Abstract
Considering the importance of knowledge management and its role in the advancement of organizations, this research aims to investigate the role of green intellectual capital and green technological innovations on knowledge management. In so doing, a survey research study was employed. The population of the study included 170 employees of South Khorasan Oil Company. A simple random sample of 118 subjects was selected using Morgan's table. The instruments for data collection were the Knowledge Management questionnaire by Patrick et al. (2009), the Green Intellectual Capital questionnaire by Darvishi and Ziaei (2016), and Green Technological Innovations questionnaire by Darvishi and Ziaei (2016). Data analysis and hypothesis testing were done by Pearson correlation method, multiple regression analysis, and structural equation model. Findings showed that among different dimensions of green intellectual capital, the impact of green relational capital and green structural capital on knowledge management was significant; however, the impact of green human capital and green technological innovations on knowledge management was insignificant. Accordingly, green structural capital and green relational capital play an effective role in advancing employees’ knowledge management. The knowledge management coefficient was 496%, which meant that 49.6% of knowledge management changes were influenced by relational capital and green structural capital. Further, the model fit index represented the appropriate fit of the structural model of the research.
